XeroCon 2023 was an incredible event for Implementation Partners like ourselves. As someone who works with many platforms in the Xero app ecosystem, I was excited to attend and learn more about what’s coming next. I’m happy to say that I had a great experience and came away with lots of ideas for my own business.
WorkflowMax by BlueRock
One of the highlights of XeroCon 2023 was learning more about WorkflowMax by BlueRock. There’s a lot of interest in what is coming from their team, and Accounting, Bookkeeping and business Advisors are keen to understand what is coming, what has changed, and when to expect their clients will have access (note - it will be in early 2024!). I was impressed by the progress that has been made so far, headed up by Head of Product, Chris Galt. He demoed the refreshed look & feel & functionality of the software to a packed audience, further building confidence for Implementation Partners and XeroCon attendees in what we can expect at go-live.
The Power of Connection and Conversation
Another key takeaway from XeroCon 2023 was the power of connection and conversation. I came away with lots of ideas for my own business, and learned from the app partners in the ecosystem of their platforms’ capability. It was interesting to see where we can potentially position our service offering when supporting Xero partners as well as our clients.

Overall, XeroCon 2023 was an amazing event that left me feeling inspired and energised. My top 3 takeaways were:
